I'm Ethan.
I work with a small number of local businesses and organizations at a time. The work might involve a website, an old system that needs untangling, or building something new that fits their needs. I get into how things actually work before I start.
I started Saiph because the people who know your name should be the ones who fix your tech. Small businesses and local organizations get handed tools that don't fit, locked into subscriptions they don't always need, and nudged toward platforms that treat their data as inventory. I would rather be on your side, and help make things a little better by supporting you as best I can.
How I work
A lot of community organizations know something is broken but assume fixing it is out of reach. I want to take the time to understand how things actually work for your group before proposing anything. My goal is to find a starting point you can act on, and a fix that fits your budget.
Operational review
I spend time with how things actually run: what systems you have, who touches them, where things break, what's exposed. Whether or not we end up working together, you should at least understand how you might be able to fix things. Reach out and we can work on getting you an assessment.
Build and hand off
Websites, internal tools, workflow automation, data cleanup. Built so the next person can pick it up. The work is documented and handed over in accounts you control.

Ongoing clients contact me directly, and I already know their setup when something changes.
What this might look like
"Half your organization runs through one person's Gmail."
This is a key-person dependency, one of the most common risks in small organizations. One departure can take the whole operation down. The fix: migrate access to organization-owned accounts and document who controls what.

This is tool sprawl. Five vendors billing monthly for overlapping features nobody fully uses. Saiph audits actual usage, consolidates where possible, and cancels the rest.

This is an informal workflow: a critical process with no validation, version control, or audit trail. Saiph can replace it with a purpose-built tool that acts as a single source of truth, or offered structured training to help establish workflows that only needed correcting.
